Important Admissions Information

• Applications for 3-K, P-K & Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year must be submitted online at MySchools.nyc, in person @ District 13 Family Welcome Center, or by calling (718) 623-5069

• Current PS 256 3-K & Pre-K families must submit an application to be considered for placement with us for Pre-K & Kindergarten. Current families will have priority in admissions.

• We are a non-zoned, public elementary school. This means that any child throughout NYC may enroll with us!

• We are NYC Magnet School. Magnet schools are part of a select network of schools that offer innovative theme-based programs.

• Anyone who was not selected to attend PS 256 may still enroll with us! Simply come into our school, and we will lead the process.
